GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Two people were shot near the Metro Bar on Grand Rapids' south side early Saturday morning.
Police told 13 ON YOUR SIDE that just before 2 a.m. Saturday officers heard gunshots in the area.
When the officers went to investigate, they found a woman who was shot in the back near S. Division Avenue and Stewart Street, SW.
She was taken to the hospital to be treated for her injuries.
Police said later on a man also showed up at the hospital with gunshot wounds.
According to police, both people are expected to survive.
Police said they haven't found any suspects or made any arrests yet.
Police said they didn't know if the man and woman knew each other or whether they were together near the bar.
The investigation is ongoing.
