POLKTON CHARTER TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Three people were injured in a crash in Polkton Township on Saturday afternoon, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies were dispatched to Cleveland Street and State Road around 1:45 p.m. for a crash.
According to OCSO, a Chevrolet Traverse was traveling eastbound on Cleveland Street near State Road and a Buick Envision was traveling westbound on Cleveland Street.
Deputies said the investigation shows that the Chevrolet Traverse didn't yield while attempting to turn left, causing the crash.
The passenger of the Chevrolet Traverse was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. The driver was not injured, OCSO said.
Deputies said the driver and passenger of the Buick Envision were taken to a local hospital in good condition.
OCSO said the crash is still under investigation.
