At any given night in Kent County, more than 80 young people have no place to go, no place to sleep, no place to find shelter. That number reaches over 2,000 for the entire year. 3:11 Youth Housing develops affordable, safe housing for these young adults to help them transition to a healthy interdependence.
Over 80 young people, ages 18-24, are experiencing homelessness on any given night in Kent County. 40% of homeless adults also experienced homelessness as a young person.
All youth living in a 3:11 home are between the ages of 18 and 24. They can live there for up to 2 years. It is primarily funded through grants and individual donations.
