CASCADE, Mich — The Kent County Sheriff's Office is looking for the person responsible for firing off a gunshot inside a Cascade Township hotel Monday night.
A fight around 7 p.m. inside the Red Roof Inn in Cascade escalated to someone shooting a gun, deputies said Tuesday.
No one was hurt, but when deputies arrived to check it out, they found one bullet casing in the room and recovered a firearm.
Deputies arrested two people on outstanding warrants and another on unrelated charges.
Detectives are still looking to find the person who they believe fired the shot.
"There is no threat to the public as investigators believe the altercation was between the specific parties that were in the hotel room," the department said.
