CANNON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) -- A woman was killed Wednesday morning when her car struck another car head-on.
The accident happened around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 3700 block of Honey Creek Avenue NE, north of 4 Mile Road.
Kent County Sheriff's deputies say the victim, 44-year-old Martha Moorhead of Sheridan, was northbound on Honey Creek when she crossed the center line and hit a southbound car.
Moorhead was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver, 64-year-old Douglas Seikman of Cascade Township, suffered minor injuries.
Deputies say both drivers were wearing seat belts and alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
Deputies are still investigating the crash.
