GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- Spectrum Health Care's new facility will make a trip to the doctor a little more convenient.
The Integrated Care Campus follows a trend in health care all around the country.
The facility combines nine of Spectrum's outpatient offices and will offer coordinated health care, including neurology, obstetrics, radiology, family medicine, rehab and Urgent Care, all under one roof.
"We have a building where providers can actually collaborate around the patient," said Seth Wolk with Spectrum Health. "We also have diagnosis services here including radiology and lab services so that the patient hopefully can make one stop. So it is really meant to be convenient."
The new Campus is on the East Beltline and Three Mile Road and patients can begin using the services on Monday, July 21st.
Spectrum Health is also considering moving a tenth outpatient office to the new facility on the East Beltline. The urgent care clinic on Broadmoor Avenue in Kentwood has closed temporarily while officials consider the consolidation.
The Plainfield Avenue Urgent Care Center is already scheduled to close Sunday, July 20 so staff can move to the new facility.
