ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. — Two people were killed overnight Thursday in a car crash in Allegan County.
Deputies say the crash happened around 12:30 a.m. on 122nd Avenue. A car had been traveling westbound when it left the road and hit a tree, deputies say. The two occupants were pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators believe alcohol and speed may have been factors in the crash.
A portion of 122nd Avenue was closed for several hours. It has since reopened.
