Allegan County Sheriff says missing 13-year-old boy found safe

About 20 minutes after alerting the public about the missing child, authorities said they found the child safely.

ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. — UPDATE: The Allegan County Sheriff's Office said the boy was found safe.

The Allegan County Sheriff's Office is hoping you can help them reunite a 13-year-old boy with his family. 

Just after 7:15 p.m. Monday, someone called police to report a missing endangered juvenile in the area of 48th Street and 106th Avenue. 

The sheriff's office learned Breydon Mykel Payne was last spotted walking in Lee Township where he was reported missing. 

Authorities aren't sure which direction he was headed. 

The boy has medical conditions that require medication and intervention, the sheriff's office said, and they are worried about his wellbeing. 

The boy is described as standing about 5'1" tall, weighing about 104 pounds, and has brown eyes and a scar on his right thumb. 

He was last spotted wearing a camouflage winter coat with a hood and grey sweatpants. 

If you spot him, you're asked to call the Allegan County Sheriff's Office.
