KENT COUNTY, Mich. — Two people are in serious condition following a collision involving a dump truck Thursday morning.
Deputies say it happened on Bristol Avenue in Alpine Township around 9 a.m. A 20-year-old Rockford woman had been driving southbound in a Honda CRV when she failed to stop for a stop sign, according to deputies.
This caused her to collide with a dump truck, which was driven by a 40-year-old Alpine Township man, that was also traveling south.
Both drivers were taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
