Update 1/16/2021:
On Saturday evening, authorities in Montcalm County announced the death of an 18-year-old female involved in a shooting on Wednesday, Jan. 13.
Michigan State Police Lakeview Post tweeted on Saturday, "It is with deepest sympathy that we report that the 18-year-old female victim, from Greenville, passed away this afternoon."
The situation is still under investigation. Currently, police are looking for a gray 2000 GMC Pickup with black extended towing mirrors and no license plate. They say there may be bullet holes in the front and drivers side windows.
Original 1/13/2021:
Authorities in Montcalm County say two teen girls were injured in an early morning shooting, but that two suspects are in custody.
It happened around 2 a.m. at a home near the intersection of Ann and Janet streets in Evergreen Township.
MSP said one teen is in critical condition and the second has non-life threatening injuries. MSP did not disclose the ages of the victims.
Two individuals who are believed to be the shooting suspects have been identified and lodged on multiple felony charges.
