BARRY COUNTY, Mich. — A motorcyclist was killed Sunday night after crashing into a tree in Barry County.
The crash happened on Marsh Road around 10:45 p.m. A 31-year-old Plainwell man was driving a motorcycle northbound when he lost control and crashed into a tree, according to police.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet. Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash.
