Officers responded to reports of gunfire near the corner of McReynolds Avenue and 5th at around 2am this morning. They found evidence of a shooting but found no victims at the scene.
A short time later a man with gunshot wounds was brought to the hospital by private transport.
The man is currently in critical condition.
