GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A Grand Rapids building partially collapsed early Sunday morning after a car crashed into it, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department.
GRPD said the crash happened at Eastern Avenue SE and Thomas Street SE around 3 a.m.
Police said one vehicle was driving through the intersection when a second vehicle ran a stop sign, crashing into the first vehicle and sending it into an abandoned building on the corner.
The crash did extensive damage to the building, with a corner of the two-story brick building collapsed to the ground.
GRPD said one of the drivers had minor injuries from the crash.
