BYRON CENTER, Mich. — Whether it was waiting outside in the falling snow or getting lunch bags ready for the team inside of Byron Center High School's cafeteria, family and supporters of the Bulldog's football team showed up in numbers Friday afternoon.

"We're so excited, they have been working so hard off the field, on the field," said Stephanie Conrad who has a senior on the team. "It's so exciting, it's the first time they've done this in history. And they've been playing together since the third grade, like literally talking about this since third grade."

To say they're proud of the 11-1 team would be an understatement.

"I don't know if I've slept," said Crystal Laska who also has a senior on the team.

And while the bulldogs packed up for the day, they were waived off by those who love and support them on 84th St.

If the Bulldogs win the Division 2 Championship, according to the seniors parents, it will be their first football championship win in school history.
