GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — One man is dead after being hit by a car while walking in the roadway late Thursday night.
According to the Michigan State Police Grand Rapids Post, around 11:55 p.m. a black Toyota sedan traveling eastbound on M-21 east of I-96 hit a man walking in the roadway.
Deputies said the 26-year-old Caledonia man died on the scene.
The driver was not injured, according to deputies. The driver is cooperating with the investigation.
