CASS COUNTY, Mich. — A woman is in custody after allegedly stealing from a business in Cass County.
The initial incident happened on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at Pro Dock Inc. in Newberg Township. Deputies were called to the business to investigate the larceny, but no arrests were made.
On Thursday, deputies were executing a search warrant in the 24000 block of North Shore Drive when they found evidence of the crime. A 45-year-old woman was taken into custody in connection to the larceny.
The investigation is still ongoing.
