Local radio host Ed 'Uncle Buck' Buchanan passes away

A West Michigan radio personality has passed away. WLAV posted on it's Facebook page that Ed Buchanan, or Uncle Buck died Thursday.

The station said, "Ed is the reason that all of us are here & enjoy the legendary status of the station he started. Rock In Peace Uncle Buck!"

He joined the station in 1970 , left the station in 1979 to work at WCUZ, then rejoined WLAV in 1995, and has been here since, according to WLAV's website.
