To enter and participate in this Sweepstakes, you must agree to and abide by these Official Rules.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. You must have Internet access and an active e-mail account to participate.
- Eligibility: The Doctor Odyssey Upper Deck Luxury Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and Washington D.C., who are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in the jurisdiction of their residence, whichever is older) and who have an active e-mail account and Internet access as of 9/16/24. Employees of American Broadcasting Companies, Inc. (“ABC” or “Sponsor”), Probability LLC (the “Administrator”), Saks.com LLC , (“Saks”) any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering the Sweepstakes or supplying the prize (or any element thereof), and each of their respective parent, subsidiary, related and affiliated companies, as well as persons involved in the production (including cast and crew) of the “Doctor Odyssey” television show (“Show”) and the entities owned and operated by those persons (collectively, the “Promotion Entities”), and the immediate family and household members of all such foregoing individuals, are not eligible to enter or win. "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses, regardless of where they live. "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three (3) months a year, whether related or not. Potential winner will be required to provide proof of eligibility prior to prize award as discussed below. Void where prohibited.
- Sweepstakes Entry: The Sweepstakes begins on or about 9:00:00 a.m. ET on September 17, 2024 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on October 15, 2024 (“Promotion Period”). Administrator’s computer is the official clock for the Sweepstakes.
During the Promotion Period, navigate the Internet to http://www.doctorodysseysweepstakes.abc.com/ (the “Website”). On the Website, you must complete the entry form by providing: your full name, e-mail address, and phone number(s) where you may be reached during normal business hours (9:00 a.m. ET – 5:00 p.m. ET) if your entry is selected as the potential winner in the random drawing.

In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to conduct the Sweepstakes and award the prize in a manner which is fair, appropriate and consistent with these Official Rules, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Notice of termination/modification/suspension of Sweepstakes will be posted on the Website. Without limitation of any other term here, Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions, technical failures of any kind (including but not limited to electronic malfunction or damage of any network, hardware or software), any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or loss, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; or any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or electronic entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer or mobile device related to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes.
Entrants further agree not to knowingly damage or cause interruption of the Sweepstakes and/or prevent others from participating in the Sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE ANY ONLINE SERVICE OR WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES VIOLATES CRIMINAL OR CIVIL LAWS. - Random Drawing/Odds: Potential winner will be selected via a random drawing, on or about October 16, 2024 from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The random drawing will be conducted by Administrator, an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final and binding on all administrative matters related to the Sweepstakes.
Odds of winning the prize depends on total number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.
- Winner Notification: Potential winner will be notified by e-mail/phone on or about October 16, 2024. Failure to respond to the initial notification within three (3) business days after transmission to potential winner or return of notification as undeliverable after two (2) attempts will result in disqualification and award of the prize to an alternate winner. Potential winner will be required to complete, sign and return within three (3) business days of transmission, an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and Indemnification, and a Publicity Release, where allowed by law. If potential winner does not respond to the initial notification attempt within three (3) business days after transmission as set forth above, if Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and Indemnification and Publicity Release documents are not returned to Administrator within the specified time period, if prize notification is returned as non-deliverable, if potential winner is found to be ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules, or if potential winner does not accept the prize for any reason, prize may be forfeited and such potential winner may be disqualified. If potential winner is disqualified for any reason, prize will be awarded to an alternate winner selected from all remaining eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. In the event of any dispute concerning the identity of any entrant, the entry will be deemed submitted by the natural person who is the authorized holder of the transmitting e-mail account. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
- Prize and Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”):
One (1) grand prize “Grand Prize”) is available to be won: The Grand Prize winner will receive a three (3)-day/two (2)-night trip for the Grand Prize winner and one (1) guest to New York, NY, for a one-day luxury shopping experience at Saks Fifth Avenue’s flagship department store location in Midtown Manhattan (the “VIP Experience”). Specifically, the Grand Prize includes: two (2) round-trip, air transportation tickets for the Grand Prize winner and one (1) guest to the New York City area from an airport near the Grand Prize winner’s residence (as selected by Sponsor); three (3)-day/two (2)-night hotel accommodations (one room, double occupancy) in a luxury hotel of Sponsor’s choice in New York City; round trip ground transportation to and from the New York City area airport and the New York City hotel and $5,000.00 awarded in the form of a check in the name of the Grand Prize winner which may be used by the Grand Prize winner to help fund a dream cruise.
The VIP Experience includes the below:
- $10,000.00 shopping credit at Saks Fifth Avenue to use throughout the VIP Experience subject to the limitations below.
- A private styling session at Saks’ Fifth Avenue Club, where winner and guest will receive one-on-one assistance from an expert style advisor (does NOT include personal shopping services, events and experiences or tailoring services).
- A 12-course lunch at Saks’ omakase Japanese restaurant, Hoseki.
- A meal at Saks’ Parisian-inspired restaurant, L’Avenue.
- A customized facial at FaceGym based on skin needs (includes cleansing, moisturizing and exfoliating the skin on the face).
- A private makeup session with a professional beauty artist from Saks.
TRIP MUST BE TAKEN BY OCTOBER 29, 2025. If trip is not completed by October 29, 2025, the prize will be forfeited without compensation of any kind. Sponsor reserves the right to change the allowable dates, the trip period, or any other component of the trip (including the VIP Experience), for any reason and in its sole discretion. Trip dates, accommodations and elements of VIP Experience (other than the Shopping Credit) are subject to availability†; advanced notice requirements; certain restrictions and block-out dates may apply. All components of the trip must occur on consecutive nights. Grand Prize winner must provide Sponsor with three (3) possible travel dates; however, Sponsor’s decision as to actual travel dates is final and binding. (Grand Prize winner may not receive their first choice of travel date.) Grand Prize winner is solely responsible for all other expenses related to trip not specified herein, including but not limited to meals**, beverages**, tips, applicable taxes, travel insurance, and hotel incidentals. Grand Prize winner and guest must arrange for their own transportation to and from their homes and the initial departure airport. Grand Prize winner and guest must travel together on specified itinerary, including same departure date, destination, and return date or prize may be forfeited in its entirety. Accommodation restrictions may apply. If ground transportation in New York City is awarded in the form of vouchers, the issuer of the vouchers will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion and the vouchers are subject to the terms and conditions of such issuer. All travel dates and arrangements are subject to change, availability, and Sponsor’s approval.
†Should a given element of the VIP Experience (other than the Shopping Credit) become unavailable, the entire liability of Sponsor and Saks is providing the remaining element(s) of the VIP Experience and the Grand Prize and no alternative prize component or compensation will be awarded in conjunction therewith.
**Excluding meals at L’Avenue and Hoseki which are included as part of the VIP Experience.
Guest (if a minor in their jurisdiction of residence, their parent or legal guardian) must sign a Release and Indemnification and a Publicity Release (where allowed by law), prior to issuance of travel documents. If Guest is a minor, the Grand Prize winner must be such minor’s parent or legal guardian.
Grand Prize winner and their guest are solely responsible for any and all required travel documentation and requirements necessary to travel on trip. This includes, but is not limited to, any applicable and necessary government issued ID or similar documents, as well as determining and complying with any travel, health and safety protocols, requirements and/or procedures and restrictions. In addition, Grand Prize winner (or guest) will be required to present a valid credit card at the hotel at the time of check-in.
In the event you are selected as the potential Grand Prize winner, you agree that you will forfeit the prize (and neither Sponsor nor Administrator shall have any liability to you) if you fail to provide the necessary information or similar documents (or comply with other applicable requirements). Air transportation tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable and are not valid for upgrades or frequent flyer miles. All air transportation tickets are subject to the vagaries of flight variation, work stoppages, and schedule or route changes without notice. Winner will not receive cash or any other form of compensation if actual travel costs are less than the prize ARV stated in these Official Rules. The Released Parties are not liable for any missed events or opportunities or expenses incurred as a consequence of flight cancellation or delay or ground transportation delay.
ARV of Grand Prize: $21,500.00. Actual final value of the Grand Prize may vary depending upon point of departure, dates of trip once finally determined, and fare fluctuations; and, under no circumstances will the Grand Prize winner receive the difference between ARV and actual final value of the Grand Prize trip in cash. If Grand Prize winner elects to accept the prize without a guest, prize will be adjusted accordingly, but the Grand Prize winner will not receive any substitute prize or compensation in conjunction therewith. If the Grand Prize winner lives within 150 miles of the New York City area (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion), they will receive, in lieu of air transportation, round-trip local transportation between the Grand Prize winner’s residence and hotel.
Shopping credit element of VIP Experience is subject to terms and conditions of use of Saks, which may include expiration date; prohibition on use of shopping credit with any coupons/discounts/offers; shopping credit not being redeemable/exchangeable for cash; and not being transferable. Shopping credit is not a gift card.
For meal elements of VIP Experience: (a) winner and guest are solely responsible for advising Sponsor and Saks of any food allergies and other dietary restrictions prior to date of prize travel, with the understanding that while the operators of the corresponding restaurants will endeavor to accommodate such allergies/restrictions, Sponsor and Saks disclaim any and all liability in conjunction therewith and (b) Sponsor and Saks further disclaim any and all liability relative to the suitability of the food and beverages provided by the restaurants (and, without limitation, winner and guest expressly acknowledge that an omakase dining experience involves the chef determining the menu in their sole discretion and subject only to the preceding caveat regarding allergies/restrictions of winner and guest.)
For facial and make-up elements of VIP Experience: (a) winner and guest are solely responsible for advising Sponsor and Saks of any skin conditions or health complications/considerations prior to date of prize travel, with the understanding that the specialist who is providing the facial/make-up session may elect not to proceed with the facial/make-up session altogether or to proceed with the facial/make-up session in an alternative, modified format as the specialist deems appropriate in their sole, professional judgment, and in such case Sponsor and Saks disclaim any and all liability in conjunction with such decision; and (b) Sponsor and Saks further disclaim any and all liability relative to the results of the facial/make-up session as well as any adverse consequences that may result from the facial/make-up session (including, without limitation, a break-out/purging after the facial).
The Grand Prize winner and their guest must follow all instructions of Sponsor, Saks and/or VIP Experience personnel including restaurant staff, specialist providing the facial, professional beauty artist (as applicable) relative to the VIP Experience. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the Grand Prize. Should Grand Prize winner and/or guest fail to adhere to any such instructions or engage in unruly, obnoxious, illegal, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate behavior (as determined by Sponsor and Saks in their sole discretion), Sponsor reserves the right, without further notice or warning, to terminate the trip or VIP Experience early, in whole or in part, and send Grand Prize winner and/or their guest home as Sponsor deems appropriate in its sole discretion. The preceding includes, but is not limited to, Grand Prize Winner and/or their guest failing to comply with government mandates and travel health, or safety protocols, including those established by Sponsor, Saks and/or any entity providing services as part of the VIP Experience.
No cash alternative or Grand Prize substitutions will be allowed, except Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute one or more prize elements of equal or greater value for the Grand Prize or portions thereof if Grand Prize listed or portions thereof is unavailable for any reason.
Grand Prize must be accepted in its entirety or not at all; and, if declined, no alternate prize or compensation will be awarded.
All federal, state and/or local taxes are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize winner who will receive an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the value of the Grand Prize. Grand Prize winner must provide their Social Security Number or Tax Identification Number to Sponsor and/or Administrator and their representatives upon request and otherwise cooperate with Sponsor and/or Administrator and their representatives in conjunction with the reporting of their receipt of the Grand Prize to the Internal Revenue Service and any other applicable governmental tax authorities, as required by applicable law.
- Conditions and Limitations of Liability: By entering, each entrant agrees: (a) to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and Administrator, which shall be final and binding in all respects; and (b) to release, discharge and hold harmless each of the Promotion Entities, Meta Platforms, Inc., X Corp., each of the foregoing entities’ respective parent, subsidiary, related, affiliated and successor companies, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage, including, without limitation, death and bodily injury, arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participation in this Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activity (including without limitation, any travel related thereto), and/or from entrant’s acceptance, receipt, use or misuse of the Grand Prize or any portions thereof (to the extent applicable).
By accepting the Grand Prize, Grand Prize winner grants Sponsor and its designees (including Saks) permission to use their name, voice, likeness, photograph, Prize information, biographical data and city and state of residence on a winner’s list (if applicable) and for programming, publicity and promotional purposes, worldwide in all forms of media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity, without further compensation unless prohibited by law. The preceding includes but is not limited to possible recordation of the VIP Experience potentially for use by Sponsor and its designees (including Saks) for programming, publicity and promotional purposes. Sponsor and its designees (including Saks) are not obligated to use any of the above-mentioned information or materials but may do so and may edit such information or materials, at Sponsor’s discretion, without further obligation or compensation. Sweepstakes subject to the laws of the United States only. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged.
- Disputes: Arbitration/Choice Of Law: Except where prohibited, entrants agree that: (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or the award of the prize, or the determination of the Grand Prize winner, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by arbitration pursuant to the Rules of the American Arbitration Association, then effective; (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (c) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased, or to seek or obtain injunctive or other equitable relief against the production, exhibition or distribution of any program, clip, promotional spot, commercial, or other such material. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and/or Released Parties in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New York, without regard for conflicts of law doctrine of New York or any other jurisdiction, and all proceedings shall take place in the City of New York, County of New York.
- Prize Provision and Administration Disclaimer: Saks is responsible solely for providing and administering the VIP Experience for the Sweepstakes. However, Saks is not responsible for the management, promotion, or any other aspect of the Sweepstakes, including, but not limited to, entries, selection of winners, or compliance with applicable laws and regulations. All questions regarding the Sweepstakes should be directed to Sponsor. Saks disclaims any and all liability for issues outside of prize provision and administration.
