Three people are hurt after they fell from a roof on an under-construction building located in the 400 block of 68th Avenue, north of West Randall Street.
Police say the people were working on installing 80-foot-long trusses to a salt barn for the Ottawa County Road Commission. It appears a strong gust of wind caused trusses to tip, sending the men and 11 trusses to fall to the ground.
The mens' injuries are described as non-life-threatening, and they are in stable condition at an area hospital.
They were able to walk away after falling, police said.
