Crash between 3 semis on I-94 in Calhoun County slows traffic

A morning crash on I-94 at Beadle Lake Road in Calhoun County shut down the highway Wednesday morning. The westbound lanes have since reopened.

CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. — Michigan State Police are tending to a crash Wednesday morning that shut down I-94 in Calhoun County.

The highway has since reopened in the westbound lanes, but authorities said traffic is still moving slowly along I-94 at Beadle Lake Road.

Troopers said the crash involved three semis, and it wasn't immediately clear if there were any injuries.

The Emmet Township Police and Fire Department are taking the lead on the crash investigation, while state police are assisting with traffic points and vehicle inspections.
