HOLLAND, Mich. — An early morning crash in Holland led to a major power outage on Sunday, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said they were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash on Butternut Drive near Hayes Street around 12:51 a.m.
OCSO said the vehicle, driven by a 59-year-old Holland man, left the roadway and crashed into a power pole. The pole then snapped, and lines were down in the road.
Deputies said this caused a major power outage in the area and units were on scene to block the road.
No one was injured in the crash, OCSO said.
