Crash involving multiple semis shuts down area of US-131

The lane closure is expected to last four to six hours, police say.

A crash with multiple semi trucks shut down a portion of US-131 in Kalamazoo County.

KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. — A crash involving multiple semi trucks has shut down an area of US-131 in Kalamazoo County, the Michigan State Police say.

The crash happened in the southbound lanes near U Avenue Tuesday afternoon. The lanes are expected to be closed for four to six hours, troopers say.

Police say there are injuries involved in this crash, but it's unknown the extent at this time.
