SIX LAKES, Mich. — One person was killed and another was injured in a crash stemming from a collision with a deer.
The crash happened on M-46 in Six Lakes around 5:19 a.m. Friday, according to the Michigan State Police (MSP).
MSP said a Dodge Ram, driven by a 30-year-old Remus man, was traveling westbound when it hit a deer. The collision caused the Ram to cross the centerline and hit an eastbound Chevrolet Impala.
The driver of the Impala, a 44-year-old Morley man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Ram was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
This crash is still under investigation.
