LANSING, Mich. — FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers are opening in Ionia, Livingston and Monroe counties to help residents who were affected by the severe weather on Aug. 24-26, 2023.
The centers will open on Monday, March 4 at 8 a.m.
FEMA specialists and the U.S. Small Business Administration at the centers can help residents apply for federal disaster assistance, upload documents and discover ways to make their property more disaster-resistant.
Most centers will be open from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Ionia County
- Boston Township Hall
- 30 Center St.
- Saranac, MI 48881
- Closing permanently at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, March 9
Livingston County
- Fowlerville Fire Station #41

Monroe County

Wayne County (South East)

- Note: This center closes at 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays

You don't need to visit a recovery center to receive assistance from FEMA.
To apply without visiting a center, call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362 between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m., go online to DisasterAssistance.gov or download the FEMA App.
The deadline to apply for assistance is April 8, 2024.
