Brothers light up the orchard | A hand-made holiday spectacle at Crane Orchards

This is the second year Crane Orchards has offered a drive-thru holiday light display.

FENNVILLE, Mich. — A Fennville fruit orchard has transformed into a drive-thru holiday light display this winter.

Crane Orchards is known for its apples, peaches and cherries, but now also offers holiday cheer for the second year in a row.

Brothers Trevor and Taylor Crane alongside one other explained they handcrafted the dozens of light structures and painted pieces.

"He pretty much draws 'em on the concrete, our fabricator just fabricates 'em right to the lines, and I do every single light bulb has a zip tie, and every single light bulb is touched by me," said Taylor Crane.

As you make your way through the display on the orchard, you'll see elves, Santa, presents, reindeer, candy canes, lollipops, penguins, polar bears, an ice skating rink, a train, fruit trees and so much more.

The trio said they had never been to a light show before when creating their version of holiday magic. There's also a section made of hand-painted wooden pieces called 'Crane-ville.'

The team starts setting everything up in November once apple season is finished and takes about 3 weeks.

The display is open until December 29 and costs either $20-$25 per car depending on number of people.
