CLARKSVILLE, Mich. (WZZM) -- A woman in labor on her way to the hospital alerted emergency crews to a large pole barn fire in Ionia County.
It was called in to 911 around 1:20 a.m. at a home on Nash Highway, between Clarksville and Lake Odessa.
Heavy flames were shooting from the building when firefighters arrived.
The fire destroyed the building. Crews are not sure what may have caused it.
Three area fire departments responded to the call.
