KENT COUNTY, Mich. — A man was killed Sunday night after he was hit by a truck in Gaines Township.
The man was hit by a white Ford F-150 truck around 9:30 p.m. in the 5900 block of Dutton Avenue SE after stepping into the road, according to investigators. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies say a 19-year-old man was driving the truck. He had been unable to stop after the man walked into the road.
He was uninjured in the incident.
This crash remains under investigation.
