GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Gordon Food Service hosted a special opening event at its newest grocery store at the corner of Michigan Street and Diamond Avenue.
The new Grand rapids location is inspired by neighborhood grocers found in large cities like Manhattan and how they make the most of tight spaces. The store will have a large offering, including fresh seasonal produce, a fresh meat and seafood counter, full-service deli, fresh bakery, olive bar, and a craft ice cream bar.
The new store is the anchor retail tenant at Diamond Place, which is a $42 million, 2.8-acre development at the northeast corner of Michigan Street and Diamond Avenue along the eastern edge of the bustling Medical Mile corridor.
