100th Anniversary | Complete guide to the 2024 Coast Guard Festival

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. — Grand Haven's biggest event is returning for its 100th year at the end of the month.

The 2024 Grand Haven Coast Guard Festival is set to host one of its biggest celebrations yet as it honors the men and women of the United States Coast Guard.

Grand Haven, better known this time of year as "Coast Guard City, USA," is preparing for 10 days of fun filled with Coast Guard ships, parades, concerts, food, shopping and more.

It all kicks off on Friday, July 26!

Coast Guard Festival Parking Information

Harbor Transit Park and Ride will be providing a shuttle service to the festival from specific parking locations. From Friday, July 26 through Friday, Aug. 2, the shuttle service is free but will cost between $1.50 and $3 on Saturday, Aug. 3.

From Friday to Friday, you can park at the Harbor Island Soccer Field. Parking locations vary on Saturday, Aug. 3. The downtown drop-off location is 3rd Street and Columbus Avenue.
