GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - John Ball Zoo is offering a discounted admission free on May 29.
On Tuesday, admission will be $5.29 for adults and children. The zoo is celebrating Save for Education Day, and anyone with a coupon can get into the zoo with the discounted rate.
The event is put on by the zoo and more than 70 financial advisors from Edward Jones as a way to encourage people to get serious about defining and achieving their education savings goals.
As the cost for higher education continues to rise, Edward Jones wants to help families with college saving options.
The John Ball Zoo opens at 9 a.m.
You can get the discount coupon for $5.29 admission by visiting the John Ball Zoo website and clicking here. Visitors can show this coupon on their smartphones at the entrance, or print it out. It is good for up to 6 admissions.
