Man hurt in early morning stabbing in Grand Rapids

The Grand Rapids Police Department said the man suffered a non-life-threatening wound.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids Police are investigating a stabbing that left one man hurt early Thursday morning. 

GRPD said it happened around 5 a.m. in the 1500 block of Northfield Drive NE. 

Police said someone stabbed a man. He had non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to be OK. 

Detectives have a suspect in mind, and that person is an acquaintance of the victim, authorities said.
