Plans are moving forward on a proposed 40-story tower that would become Grand Rapids' tallest building.
The Grand Rapids Press reports the Grand Rapids Historic Preservation Commission is scheduled to review plans on Wednesday evening at the city's Development Center.
Portage-based Hinman Co. says it would include 120-140 hotel rooms on the first 10 floors and 255 market-rate apartments on upper floors. At its proposed height, the building would eclipse River House Condominiums as the city's tallest building.
Officials in July signed off on the building's height, but they've said they want more detail on its design.
