GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan — Two dogs died in a house fire in Grand Rapids on Sunday afternoon, according to the Grand Rapids Fire Department.

The fire began in the 600 block of Spencer Street NE, according to a Facebook post by Grand Rapids Professional Firefighters Local 366.

GRFD said neighbors reported grey smoke coming from the house, and when they arrived there was a fire on the first floor.
