GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Crews are working to repair a fire hydrant that was hit by a car Thursday morning.
The intersection of Monroe Avenue NW, Coldbrook Street NW and Ottawa Avenue NW has been closed due to flooding from the damaged fire hydrant.
Crews are now on scene working to assess the damage and repair the break.
City officials originally said the flooding was caused by a water main break.
Drivers are asked to avoid the intersection at this time. Once repairs are completed, the intersection will reopen.
