"This week is spent with these students learning about GRPD, learning about law enforcement. They'll have a deep dive into all of our different units, we will have the bomb squad, which is always a fun one where they put on the bomb suits, and we'll let them race. There'll be our special response team. And then also our canine unit, detective unit, and several other units throughout the department that they can get some hands on experience, get to ask them questions and get a good feel of what law enforcement is," said Captain Michael Maycroft.
