FOUND: Grand Rapids man found safe, police say

Benjamin Moore has been found safely and reunited with his family, according to police.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — UPDATE 10/27/2023: Police say Benjamin Moore has been found safely and reunited with his family.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Grand Rapids Police (GRPD) shared Thursday night they are searching for a missing man.

Benjamin Moore, a Grand Rapids resident, may be experiencing issues with Alzheimer's.

He was last seen leaving his home on the 800 block of Everglade Dr SE around 4 pm Thursday.

Moore's family reported seeing via his phone that he was in the area of Knapps Corners around 6:30 pm Thursday.

Moore does not have a car and GRPD said it's possible he used the bus.

Moore's clothing is unknown, however his family shared he usually wears a plaid shirt.

GRPD is asking for the public's help in locating Moore.
