GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The fourth annual Poutine Week is underway in Grand Rapids—and they need your help deciding which restaurant offers the best unique poutine.

Poutine Week was started by the Michigan Street Corridor Improvement Authority to highlight restaurants on Michigan Street. This year, there are 14 participating restaurants offering their own take on the classic Canadian dish comprised of French fries, gravy and cheese curds.

You can enjoy twists like duck poutine, jalapeno popper poutine and even a cheeseburger-inspired poutine.

The following restaurants are participating:

  • 7 Monks GR
  • Birch Lodge
  • Duke's Bar
  • The Friesian
  • Grand Coney
  • Logan's Alley
  • Taco Borracho
  • American Legion
  • Bob's Bar
  • Elbow Room
  • Glass House
  • Kaffeine
  • Maggie's
  • Vandermill

If you want to get involved, just visit one of these restaurants and ask for a passport. With each poutine that you try, you can get a stamp on your passport—and if you get three stamps, you'll receive a free Poutine Week t-shirt.

Once you're ready to vote, go online here and fill out the form to submit your favorite!

The restaurants' poutine menus are also available online to help you plan your Michigan Street poutine tour.

Poutine Week kicked off on Friday, Sept. 13 and runs through midnight on Saturday, Sept. 28. The winner will be announced Monday, Sept. 30.
