Man in stable condition after being shot in the chest, GRPD says

There are currently no suspects in custody, according to GPRD.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — One man is injured after a shooting early Saturday morning in Grand Rapids. 

Around 12:30 a.m., officers were called to the 1200 block of Hamilton Avenue NW for reports of a shooting, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department.

When they arrived, officers said they found a man who was shot in the chest. He was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition, police said. 

There are currently no suspects in custody, according to GPRD.
