Woman hospitalized after stabbing at Grand Rapids bar

One woman is in custody at the Kent County Jail, according to police.

GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan — A woman is in the hospital after authorities say she was stabbed in the neck at Duke's Bar in Grand Rapids.

Officers were called to the scene at around 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning. The original call came for reports of a fight breaking out, with a person being stabbed.

At the scene, officers said they were able to track down a suspected car. 

Officers said they stopped the car, finding two people. Authorities arrested one of them, a woman, for assault in connection with the stabbing. She was taken to Kent County Jail.
