GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Authorities in Grand Rapids are investigating a possible shooting that happened overnight on the city's southwest side.
Police were called to a disturbance on Tower Avenue SW, near Burton Street SW and Buchanan Avenue SW around midnight.
Grand Rapids Police said initial reports noted someone may have been shot but later confirmed that was not the case.
Police believe there was a fight in the area and someone may have fired a gun. Officers found several bullet casings while investigating the scene.
One victim showed up to the hospital with head injuries and are expected to be OK.
