GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — If you've been looking for some vintage pieces for your home and love shopping local, the Grand Rapids Downtown Market is hosting the perfect shopping event for you!

On Sunday, Sept. 29, the Downtown Market will be taken over by more than 60 vendors selling vintage and handmade items.

The Vintage and Handmade Marketplace is a partnership between the Downtown Market and Vintage in the Zoo. Only three events were scheduled for this year, and Sunday's market is the last one of 2024.

Each market highlights dozens of vendors selling handcrafted items like jewelry, clothing, decor and more. There are also sellers offering vintage and thrifted items including furniture, vinyl records and other household goods.

Once you're done shopping, there will be a live DJ and food options from the restaurants inside the Downtown Market.

The Vintage and Handmade Marketplace runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29. It is free to attend. It will be held under the Market Shed and in the Downtown Market's parking lot.
