GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - Here is a way to use winter to your advantage.
Tom Herrgard created a refrigerator made of snow, which can be seen outside his home on Jones Street NW. He sculpted it with slush, them using a plant sprayer, he covered it with water, which of course turned into ice.
Then he installed a couple of refrigerator racks and a low voltage light bulb to complete the project.
Tom says it took him three months to build the snow fridge.
He's not sure what kind of project he'll tackle next.
