GRANT, Michigan — A 29-year-old man is in custody accused of shooting another man in the chest this weekend.
That's according to the Newaygo County Sheriff's Office, who responded to a shooting in the 13100 block of S Spruce in Grant Township on Sunday.
Deputies found a 29-year-old Grant man had been shot in the chest, and first responders rushed him to an area hospital for treatment. We're told he is expected to survive the wound.
Authorities arrested a suspect in the case, and he's in the Newaygo County Jail on several felony charges awaiting arraignment.
