GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A man is dead following a suspected hit-and-run, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department.
Around 3:15 a.m. on Sunday, a man was found in the road in the area of Division Avenue S and Andre Street SW, police said.
GRPD said they believe the man was hit by a northbound vehicle, which left the scene.
Officers said they tried to save the man when they arrived, but he died on the scene.
The crash is still being investigated by GRPD's Traffic Unit.
