OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — Two teenagers were injured in a collision in Zeeland Township on Saturday.
The crash happened just before 2 p.m. in the area of Riley Street and 96th Avenue. A Subaru driven by a 16-year-old girl was pulling out of the Family Fare parking lot when it collided with a northbound Toyota, deputies say.
The 16-year-old girl and her 15-year-old passenger both sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Toyota, a 43-year-old Holland man, was uninjured.
Deputies say the teen was cited for failing to yield.
