HUDSONVILLE, Mich. — The fourth annual Hudsonville Balloon Days will take place this weekend at the Hudsonville Fairgrounds.
From June 21-23, the fairgrounds will be bustling with beats, eats and balloons.
Organizers said food vendors and crafts will be set up throughout the festival. There will also be a bounce house, foam cannon, balloon animals and tattoos for children provided by Sammy's POW.
A DJ booth will be set up to provide music throughout the event.
Derrick Jones, the founder of Hudsonville Balloon Days said he's excited this special event is returning once again.
"Just seeing all of the memories that are taking place. It's a community, it's a wholesome, unique event and when you see those photos you're really able to look back and say, 'This is the reason we went and this is the reason why we do it,'" said Jones.
Organizers said to combat the heat visitors should wear light colors and drink lots of water.
Visitors are also encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets.
There will be hot air balloon flights throughout the festival, as well as hot air "balloon glow" events where the balloons will be lit up at night.
A full schedule of events and food vendors can be found on the festival's Facebook page.
To enter the festival, visitors should enter off of Park Street or 40th, as both gates will be open. The cost to park is $10 cash only. Admission to the festival is free.
There will be no alcohol on the campground.
