KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. — A portion of I-94 is shut down due to crashes Monday, the Michigan Department of Transportation says.
The interstate is closed in the eastbound direction between mile marker 66 and 72, near the Mattawan exit. It's been closed for nearly four hours.
Police say it could reopen within the next hour. For now, you're asked to seek an alternate route if you plan to travel in that area.
Multiple crashes have injuries involved, police say, though its unknown the extent at this time.
