GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A brand-new, 18,000-square-foot indoor golf training center is now open in Grand Rapids.
Featuring six simulators, two putting greens and a teaching bay, Brandon Roby Golf (BRG) Performance Center, located at 2320 28th Street, has year-round training for golfers of any age and skill level.
BRG offers individual and group lessons, club fittings, swing analysis, mental coaching and physical conditioning.
“As the game of golf continues to evolve, so does the technology and facilities that make it a more enjoyable experience," said Doug Small, president and CEO of Experience Grand Rapids. "...As we drive new visitations to Grand Rapids, they look for fresh, fun opportunities that afford them more entertainment options while here. The BRG Performance Center is another great example of expanding the experience certainly for residents, but visitors alike.”
The center was founded by PGA Professional Brandon Roby, who has been recognized by Golf Digest in its Best Teachers in Michigan rankings annually since 2017.
“I am thrilled to be able to fulfill my dream of opening my own best-in-class golf performance center where I can help players reach their full potential in a welcoming environment, regardless of the season,” Roby said.
Golfers can choose between the options of paying $35 for one hour or $60 for two hours using the simulators or purchasing a membership for unlimited practice time.
The center is open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. for members and Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. for nonmembers.
BRG offers special programs and classes and will also host golf leagues. They plan to bring in PGA and other industry professionals when able for training sessions.
The center currently occupies 9,000 square feet of the facility, with plans to expand in the future.
