KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A man is in jail after investigators executed a search warrant on Wednesday and found fentanyl, cocaine, crack cocaine and a stolen gun in a Kalamazoo home.
The Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team (KVET) and Crime Reduction Team (CRT) had been doing an investigation into drug sales and decided to search a home in the 1500 block of Reed Avenue.
In total, investigators said they found about 1/4 pound of fentanyl, 1.5 ounces of powder cocaine, 1/4 ounce of crack cocaine and a firearm that had been reported as stolen out of Kalamazoo County. Investigators also seized equipment used to make and sell the drugs.
The suspect, a 49-year-old man, has been previously convicted of felony charges and can't legally have a firearm, KVET said.
He was arrested and is being lodged at the Kalamazoo County Jail. He's facing multiple felony charges in this case, KVET said.
