JAMESTOWN CHARTER TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Four people are injured after a crash in Jamestown Township on Saturday afternoon, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said they were dispatched to a crash around 2 p.m. at 24th Avenue and Greenly.
OCSO said the investigation shows that a 2013 Hyundai Elantra was driving eastbound on Greenly and stopped for the stop sign on 24th Avenue.
Deputies said the driver, a 29-year-old man from Dyer, Indiana, said he thought it was a four-way stop and drove into the intersection. OCSO said he was hit by a 2013 Honda CR-V traveling southbound on 24th Avenue.
The driver of the CR-V, a 70-year-old Holland woman, was pinned in the vehicle and had to be extricated by Jamestown Fire.
Deputies said all three occupants of the CR-V received non-life-threatening injuries in the crash and were taken to the hospital.
The driver of the Hyundai was injured but treated and released at the scene.
OCSO said the at-fault driver was cited for failing to yield right of way.
